Young

Ever wonder how long it takes to change your life? What measure of time is enough to be life-altering? Is it five years, like high school? One year? A two week tour? Can your life change in a month, or a week, or a single day? We're always in a hurry to grow up, to go places, and to get ahead... but when you're young, one hour can change everything.

When you're young everything seems possible

When you're young you tend to be restless

When you're young you want to taste everything that life has to offer

When you're young you will learn the hard way

But the most important thing when you're young is for you to never quit.

I found this poem long time ago and it help me along the way and you know what people say "sharing is caring".

Never Quit

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,

When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,

When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but do not quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,

And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;

Don’t give up though the pace seems slow-
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than,
It seems to a faint and faltering man,

Often the struggler has given up,
When he might have captured the victor’s cup,

And he learnt too late when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out-
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,

And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far,

So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit-
It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.

A Tribute to Momo

Today our beloved pet momo died, I feel so sad. This is a tribute to momo.

We pick him up from the drain at the back of our house. He was crying for help for the past 2 days and it has been raining. He did not manage to climb up.
Feeling pity for momo we let him stay with us. Now it has been 3 months momo with us. The past 2 weeks he's been sick, and weak. But always remain playful.

I still remember that at first he was afraid of us. But eventually things change. I know he is somewhere better now. Thank you for all the happy time.

Happy New Year 2010

Yes ar... it's a New Year... but before the end of the 2009, I like to recap back on things that happen through 2009. Firstly I would like to say alhamdulillah... because, after so many times of trying I finally manage to complete my Degree and the whole year seems much better. The economy as we can see is on the recovery track. Surprisingly fast, lucky we don't have to suffer like what happened in 1929 and 1997 (Malaysia). The rate of recovery slow but moving steadily up. It hit me so much because I have invested most of my savings on stocks and during the economic downturn in 2007 I was badly affected as one of the company I invested in, was force to declare bankruptcy. Huh... what a lesson. The other company that I put my money in, the price drop to a quarter of the price that I bought. I take the opportunity to further my study in construction and manage to complete it December 2009.

Here come 2010. Wishing for all the best things in 2010. First of all I need to land myself a job so that I can achieve my goal, which is getting married towards the end of 2010. Life is about taking chances. Most of my friend is either married or getting married. Time flies I guess.

From now on I just have to look ahead, start planning on the next 5 years of my life.

This is my first post on this blog. Just wanted to start something new in the New Year. Today is the last day of 2009. I'm not use to party and stuff to celebrate the coming New Year, so this is one way to do it.

I pray, hope and wish for all the best things in 2010.
